Maud Nelissen, pianist and composer, has played for several years at the Nederlands Filmmuseum. She has been working intensively with the Dutch Film in Concert Foundation. She founded the group The Sprockets, with which she performs her own compositions and arrangements in Holland and in other countries. Apart from the Sprockets Maud Nelissen performs throughout Europe also solo or with other special film-ensembles. She recently conducted at the Komische Oper Berlin her score for "The Merry Widow" (Erich von Stroheim) and performed at the Berlinale. For more information please visit www.maudnelissen.com
